Last week two native speakers visited our school – one from the United States and the other one from England. During English classes with Mrs Zadrożna (3f) and Mrs Wiśniewska (3e) they told us many interesting things about everyday life in their countries, which turned out to be surprisingly different from the life in Poland. The most exciting part was when the girl from the States was talking about American life, going to school by famous yellow school buses, attending huge colleges, going to baseball matches and being able to drive a car as soon as you are sixteen.
They both prepared amazing prezentations and explained everything in detail. We learned about schools in the USA, beautiful canyons in Utah, universities and everyday life abroad. It was really fascinating to hear their personal stories and experiences. The lessons were very educational. It was a great opportunity to improve our English and communication skills. Talking with native speakers helped us gain confidence in speaking and understand more about their cultures. It was an unforgettable and inspiring experience that made learning English even more enjoyable!
